10am – 6 pm. Various activities in as part of the Lewisham Bonfire of Cuts protest. See here for events and venues.
6pm. Blockade of Westminster Bridge, assembling in Jubilee Gardens. Also bring your energy bills for burning, to highlight the massive rise in energy prices which have left people choosing between heating and eating. 10am-12.30pm. Fuel Poverty Action's first free 'Keep Warm Cafe': an opportunity to hear about what causes fuel poverty and what we can do about it, and advice on your bills and keeping warm.
