Southwark Action Alert 29 June 2014

After last week’s 50,000 strong demonstration against austerity, a million people will be on strike across Britain on 10th July. UNISON and GMB members in Local Government have confirmed they will take action on this date and have named the dates for a further two-day strike in September. PCS and UNITE will announce their ballot results early next week. Health workers plan ballots for action in the autumn.

On strike from tomorrow for education and jobs

Lambeth College teachers and support staff are on indefinite strike from tomorrow over cuts which threaten jobs and education provision. They need your support.
