Alert: A new year of massive cuts to come in Southwark

4 January 2013

This year, there will be further swingeing cuts to Southwark Council’s services, plus increases to rents and other charges. This comes on top of cuts in real terms of £90 million in the past two years. Also, in April the government’s welfare reform agenda will really kick in. With these, and the ongoing threat to South London health services, there is plenty to protest about – and lots of campaign events that you can join. Check out our Diary listing.
